How does catering work?

We allow you to use your own caterers. We have a vendors list available if you

don’t have someone available. We also have a kitchen available for you to use.

Ice, silverware and dinner napkins are included. Mason Jar glasses for the guests to use for the evening are available as well.


How do decorations work?

We have a lot of decorations available that we will set up for you at no additional

charge. We also have several different doors available.


What is the rain plan?

Our pavilion is furnished with a heating and air system. This give us a better back

up plan for inclement weather if needed. If rain is in the forecast, the Pavilion can be used for the ceremony.

It is elegant yet rustic and is very accommodating to all wedding styles. At Beautiful Beginnings Farm we love our wedding business and were happy to announce that we are growing. We’re ecstatic about our renovations and upgrades to the pavilion at Beautiful Beginnings Farm. The new features incorporated are beautiful brick work around the pavilion as well as an archway door entrance with arch windows on the front. Also added were farm style windows throughout the pavilion, a new heating and air unit, new lighting, new ceilings, and speakers inside of the pavilion that are accessible by Bluetooth. This also gives us a better back up plan for inclement weather if needed. We are always trying to improve our facility to better suit the needs of our clients. How does catering work?

Let us feed your soul, and your guests, with our many, delicious menu offerings. The South Eden catering team has depth and skill, and embodies the heart of southern hospitality. We do not allow outside food/beverage catering EXCEPT wedding cake/ liquor services.


How do decorations work?

If you choose a South Eden décor package, we will host a décor session with you (virtually or in person) to discuss what your vision is, in order to design your event. South Eden will take care of all the styling and setup/breakdown/cleanup for all South Eden décor rentals.


What is the rain plan?

We have various indoor and outdoor options throughout our property. Your rain plan will be carefully designed with the South Eden team during your details meeting.

Proctor Farm Weddings FAQ


How does catering work?

Bring your own. Caterers have to be licensed and insured.


How do decorations work?

I have some decorations that are free to use or you may bring your own. You have access to the venue on Thursday to start decorating for a Saturday wedding.


What is the rain plan?

We have an Indoor Chapel. Our banquet hall and dancing area are enclosed with heating and air.



A Note from the Owners

About 20 years ago, the Proctors were living on a beautiful piece of land in Rome, Georgia. They decided to build a unique building on the property to host concerts: the barn, which we now call the Saloon! Friends, family, and more would visit and picture themselves getting married there. So, the Proctors happily obliged. At that point, the charm of Proctor Farm started spreading by word of mouth, and over time, grew into what we know today!

When you visit, make sure to see the Proctor’s favorite place on the property: the Indoor Chapel. In Kathy’s words, “You feel such peace when you’re inside the chapel. You just feel the presence of The Lord in there.”

Neverland Farms FAQ


How does catering work?

On site, in house. We cook fresh on wedding day for our couples only. We specialize in smoked and grilled foods. Everything from scratch... extensive menu...capable of customizing for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, etc. We can utilize up to 4 identical buffet lines simultaneously...which keeps our wait time to roughly 10 minutes for all guests. Package covers all beverages for guests from arrival through exit. Buffet style, all you can eat, the service we are most famous for.


How do decorations work?

This is not a DIY venue. It’s actually the polar opposite! The entire venue including all buildings, grounds, etc ... are decorated. Extensive lighting and candles, live plants, antiques, custom furniture, pottery, the list goes on! We do not use linens. Everything pictured in our photography is part of the venue. Couples add their special touches by providing pictures, favors, the guestbook, etc. Those items are brought to the venue the day before, and executed by the venue. The only florals needed from a florist are those for the wedding party, and perhaps some embellishment at the site. Accent florals - in the bride's color palette - are created by the venue owner for the Reception Hall. The stars of the show are the magnificent ferns and live plants throughout. None of our couples or their families have any responsibilities for decor.


What is the rain plan?

We have an incomparable rain option. If need be, the ceremony can be held in the Reception Hall. All we need is 20 minutes to make the transfer! In 20 years, we have utilized this option only 9 times. Usually, we can wait until the rain passes...and continue. Pre-ceremony, the guests are hanging out in the Wedding Barn, which is adjacent to the ceremony site. So they are comfortable in spite of weather on all occasions.


A Note from the Owners

I designed the venue from scratch...for the sole purpose of holding weddings. Everything was custom built with that function in mind. The buildings are open air, pulling the magnificent pasture and forest views into them, like giant treehouses. We are seasonal, opening up late March when the land comes alive, and the cherry blossoms bloom. We close mid November when everything goes to sleep. Mother Nature provides the "decoration." As a decorator and gardener, I outfitted the venue with antiques, pottery, candles, fairy lighting, patio lighting ... and custom farm tables, bar, buffet, etc. This is a venue that is very eco friendly ... in its infrastructure as well as its operation. To bring the outdoors in, the buildings and tables are laden with huge ferns and other plants. The wedding party sits on a glass covered patio with a big waterfall, and their own fireplace. There are 4 live fireplaces at the Reception Hall. My goal was to give my couples the kind of environment they could not afford to provide just for one wedding. Because Neverland's amenities are built-in and shared by all weddings each season, this extravagance is possible. Additionally, everything is designed to be impervious to the weather...wind and rain. Some decorations can only be used indoors ... so a great deal of thought goes into the furnishings.

It's our joy to be able to share our land and this special venue with couples and their friends and families. And they appreciate the beauty. But what really pulls it all together, and is responsible for the reputation we enjoy, is a veteran team that handles this huge facility and its guests with uncompromising hospitality. There was no precedent for this kind of unique operation... and it has taken years to perfect. It helps when everyone LOVES what we're doing.

#6 The Wheeler House - Ball Ground, Georgia

In case of inclement weather, Vecoma has two back-up ceremony locations including our large outdoor covered patio and inside our great hall.

We partner with caterers that are licensed and full service. You must use someone on our list or they must be licensed, full service and there is a $500 fee.


How do decorations work?

We have many decorations available for use - all included in the fee. You can bring your own, but they must be approved in advance.

Our outdoor gazebo is perfect, if you want an outdoor experience, as our tents and dance floor transform the highly acclaimed garden into a breathtaking, light-filled oasis. Our Bridal Estate Home, with its one of a kind spiral staircase, can host your bridal shower, and your rehearsal dinner. It is great for hosting a Day of Bridal luncheon, intimate dinners, and large parties. You can even relax and get ready in our Bridal Suite. There is also a groom’s room, created just for the guys to hang out in.

How does catering work?

All outside catering is welcome as long as they are licensed to serve :) We allow the guests to pick and choose all their vendors. We have a list of suggested vendors if needed, but none are required.


How do decorations work?

Mystic Acres offers a variety of decor free of charge to use ranging from wooden signs, vases, votives and more. We have some additional more elaborate items to rent such as throne chairs, photo-booth, and sequin runners.


What is the rain plan?

The rain plan is to get married inside the barn in front of the stage. The barn is 6500 square feet so ample room for an indoor wedding!!!
