The Lodge is conveniently located right off of I-15 behind the Traverse Mountain Outlets shopping center, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. The Lodge is the perfect host for all dreamy weddings!

Wedding Capacity

The Lodge has 100 white chairs and 12 round tables on site and available for you to use for your event at no extra charge. You are welcome to rent additional tables and chairs as needed.


Sit down:

The Lodge can comfortably fit twelve (12) round tables with 100 seated guests, and have extra room (depending on your arrangement) for a DJ, gift table, food tables, and/or standing guests.


Ceremony:

For a ceremony style event, we recommend no more than 150 seated guests (without tables), although most ceremonies have fewer than 100. Important: We only provide 100 chairs on site for your event. If you need more than 100, ask us how to rent more.


Reception:

The number of guests The Lodge can accommodate at any given time for a Reception style event will depend on the layout. Most "come & go" receptions at The Lodge have up to 300 guests throughout the night.

How do decorations work?

Events can bring their own decor or they have the option to rent our unlimited rentals package which includes all our rentals for $300 or they can rent each item individually.


What if it rains?

Same as no rain plan since we are an indoor venue. Party on! :)


A Note from the Owner!

I may be a little biased, but we LOVE The Lodge. When we got married 7 years ago and were searching for a location to do our reception we realized how difficult it can be to find a place that isn’t incredibly expensive and that doesn’t force you to use their vendors or pay not to use them. SO, when we started up The Lodge we decided that we would always allow for the event to bring in their own vendors, their own food, just their own amazing touch --- free of charge. It has always been a perk here, and that will never change!

How does catering work?

Stone Gate has a full-time chef that will ensure the food at your event(s) is presented beautifully, that it is served on time, and that there is plenty of it for all of your guests. Our team will also make sure that the tables are cleared throughout the event so all of your guests may enjoy an equally wonderful time.


How do decorations work?

Stone Gate is pleased to provide elegant décor for your event. The draping with twinkle and bistro lights in all three venues is also included as well as centerpieces and signage of your choice. You are welcome to bring in other décor to personalize your space (i.e. photographs, etc.).


What is the rain plan?

Along with your rental of The Hidden Grove (our outdoor venue), you will also receive an indoor back-up room (The Great Hall or The Grand Ballroom) to use just in case the outside conditions aren’t ideal due to inclement weather, forest fires (smoky skies), or high winds.

How does catering work?

We offer in house catering as well as flexibility of allowing outside vendors at a small fee!


How do decorations work?

We have a few items available to rent, (arches, centerpieces, easels, and chalk boards) but you are always welcome to bring in as much décor as you would like.


What is the rain plan?

We have beautiful outdoor gardens attached to both our opulent room and great room that are included with the rental, in the event of inclement weather it’s a quick and easy transition inside the building.


A Note from the Owners

We are one of the only venues in the area that offer such a large stunning facility at a very affordable price range. We also include all the basics for an event, chairs, linens, tables and a friendly on hand staff to provide setup, transitions, take down, and cleaning so that guests are only responsible for what they bring in, making a stress free day.

Oak Hills FAQ


How does catering work?

We offer top-notch in-house catering. Outside catering is not allowed. During your private consultation, our Chef will help you customize your menu to perfection. We strive for the highest standards of quality and presentation.


How do decorations work?

We have a large inventory of unique and up to date decorations. Our goal is to make it so you don't have to worry about bringing in any additional decor. Our team of experienced Design Specialists will take care of your centerpieces, signs, and additional room decor, at no extra cost. We also have an in-house florist that can make gorgeous fresh or silk floral arrangements to truly customize your event.


What is the rain plan?

When it comes to the ever changing Utah weather, you can always have peace of mind with us when it comes to the "what if's." We have 2 separate buildings plus an outside garden area, which allows flexibility if we need to go to Plan B. If Plan A is to have your ceremony outside and your reception in our Barn, then we would host your ceremony in our Ballroom if the weather doesn't cooperate. We always have a backup plan in our back pockets!
