Are you engaged and getting married in Pennsylvania?
The flowers are a big deal.
When planning your wedding, you can't forget one of the most important and symbolic pieces of the event... the flowers! Whether it be your archway, bouquets or center pieces, you need a florist that is a true expert in the industry. We discovered Cambria City Flowers in the heart of Johnstown's Cambria City Historic District, and we think you will absolutely fall in love with them as much as we have! There work is beyond impressive!
This couture floral boutique comes highly rated and specializes in unique floral arrangements. Their flowers are selected daily for customers and are of the highest quality utilizing direct resources in Center, South America, Europe, Canada and local flower farmers!
We got to interview the Owners & Designers, Chad & Steven!
Chad & Steven, can you tell us a little bit about Cambria City Flowers?
Since our opening in 2011, a very personal approach in the planning process and design has been the hallmark of our relationships with our wedding clients. We have built our wedding business on one simple philosophy: every couple is unique and their wedding should be a reflection of who they are, their story and their love.
What services do you provide?
From our initial consultation to the day of the wedding, we remain in contact with our clients detailing what is desired in both look and overall feel, balanced with the practicality of what services are needed and costs involved.
We offer the full range of services from wedding bouquets, wedding party floral design, family flowers, ceremony floral design and setting, reception floral design and setting. At times, depending on venue, we do offer linen, chair and other entertaining rental through our sister company, Stella Property Development and Event Production. If the venue coordinates these items, we work closely with our client and the venue to ensure the overall look of the wedding celebration is achieved, while taking care of the practical issues of set-up and tear-down for the client.
While we welcome inspiration photos and ideas presented to us, we also greatly value the trust that our clients have placed in us to provide our creative expression of their vision!
What are the price ranges?
In some cases, we do offer pick-up of any of our designs if the client wishes to set their spaces themselves. Overall, while our offering range is wide, the quality is always consistent. Pricing varies depending upon need, style desired, and any special floral requests.
Can you show us some photos?
Do you deliver?
We offer full delivery and set-up to our clients. We travel to other areas within a 75 mile radius of Johnstown, which includes Pittsburgh, State College, Altoona and Bedford. As stated previously, we offer pick-up as well. All of these details are arranged during our consultations and subsequent meetings/communications.
What is the first step?
The best way to begin the wedding planning process is to contact us via phone or email and check our availability. Once that is confirmed, we can either begin a consultation via email, arrange an in-person appointment or set-up a zoom, facetime meeting. The best information to have when beginning the planning process is your date, venues, times (if known), bridal party details, estimated number of guests, color palate, overall style desired and a few inspiration photos. Sometimes clients know exactly what they want, while others need to talk about it. We listen to our clients and help bring out what they are wanting for their special day. We are open to all forms of communication since many of our brides do not live locally, yet are having their celebrations in the Johnstown area.
"One aspect of our business that we are very proud of is our inclusion of cultural elements into wedding celebrations. We love bringing in floral additions and designs that reflect the cultural/religious background of our clients. We feel that it is very important to celebrate who people are and have them surrounded by that on their wedding day...it truly makes it their day. We have designed weddings across all religions, for non-religious, the LGBTQ community and various ethnic and cultural traditions." - Chad & Steven

This is a sponsored post, meaning I was compensated for my time in creating this article. However, I reached out to the featured vendor and offered to feature them in our wedding guide, they did not seek me out looking to advertise. I only feature companies, products and brands I have personally researched, hand selected and truly think are great!
