#1 Branching Out Event Floral - Nashville, TN

We're Interviewing: Vicki Sanders, Owner

Nashville, TN Florist Wedding Flowers
Kathy Thomas Photography

About Vicki & the Business

I am a native Nashvillian, and grew up watching my mother (an award winning floral designer) design wedding flowers, as well as catering. I however, became a teacher and taught for many years. However, when my friends' children started to have weddings, they turned to me to design the flowers...which I did from my basement at first. When I decided that I had too many weddings to continue teaching, I "Branched Out".....and started my company 22 years ago.

What Services Can You Offer on My Wedding Day?

We offer many services for our brides. Some brides just need help with the personal flowers, i.e. bouquets, bouts, corsages, etc. which we are glad to just provide that service, and brides pick them up here from our studio. Most brides that do book us, however, are full service weddings. We design the personal flowers as well as ceremony, reception, focal floral installations, etc. Our full service includes delivery/setup and breakdown of the florals

after the event.

What are your price ranges like? Minimums?

We have an $800 minimum for pickup personal flowers, and a $1500 flower order (excluding setup/breakdown). The majority of our brides spend between $3500 to $6000 for the lush, romantic style we are known for.

Do You Travel? What are your Service Areas?

We service all of middle Tennessee and have travelled to East Tennessee as well.

What is My First Step? The first step is to contact us either by phone or email to set up an appointment for a consultation. We have always done email consultations with our destination brides who live out of state, but now the Covid-19, some brides prefer not to have an in person

consult, which is understandable. What Can I Expect at My Appointment?

When you have either an in person or email consult (we do like to follow that up with a phone call)...brides need to have a full list of everyone that will need florals...bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents, grandparents, flower girl, ringbearer, etc. Also a tentative table

count..and are those tables farm tables or rounds. Visuals are very very important to that we may see your style..and what photos you are saving or pinning and why.

Brides will then receive via email a very visual beautiful floral proposal from us.

#2 Flowers by Tami - Cleveland, TN

We're Interviewing: Tami McAllister, Owner and Designer

About Tami & the Business

I am an award winning floral designer with 17 years of experience in the industry. I started my career in floral design in 2003 with training in an established shop in East Yorkshire, England. After returning from 3 years in the UK, I spent several years managing full service floral shops in my home town of Boise, Idaho and then in Chattanooga, Tennessee when I moved East in 2012. In 2013, I had my son and finally started my own wedding and event studio. After moving from Chattanooga to Cleveland 2 years ago, I added a much larger working studio and flower gardens for growing some of my own cut flowers to use in weddings. We are also working on adding cabin rentals and elopement packages to our services on our 45 acre property in the near future!

What Services Can You Offer on My Wedding Day?

All fresh florals, any style, any budget. Sometimes including unique blooms grown by me on my property.

What are the Price Ranges? Minimums?

No minimums, I send out full price guide and informational email at first contact.

Do You Deliver? What are your Service Areas?

Yes, delivery and set up is included in quote. I serve the greater Chattanooga area, Cleveland TN, Dalton GA, East Tennessee, North Georgia, Murphy NC. Basically any venue within a 60 mile range of my studio location in Cleveland TN.

What is My First Step? Fill out the contact form on my website After I receive your inquiry I will email you some general information about pricing and the consultation process. After that you will have the option to schedule an in person or zoom or phone consultation with me as the next step. At My Appointment: What Can I Expect, How Can I Prepare?

You should have at least the venue and colors decided on before talking about flowers. A pinterest board is helpful for a starting point to communicate style and vision to your florist. I have several portfolio books to look through when we meet for in person consultations.

We will email you an itemized estimate for your flowers. You are welcome to make any adjustments you may need to better fit any ideas you have or budget concerns. #5 Morna Mae Floral & Design - Nashville, TN

We're Interviewing: Chloe Hoffman, Owner & Designer

Bride Holding Flowers
Dolly DeLong Photography

About Chloe & the Business

Morna Mae Floral & Design is a passion project helping couples craft their perfect day. I started by coordinating DIY wedding flowers for family and friends, but floral work quickly turned into something I found myself dreaming about doing full time. I took a few courses, watched a lot of YouTube videos, and found a few kind brides to take a chance on me. In 2018, I went into full time florist mode and have never stopped learning and loving this craft. While my method is always up for interpretation and ready to jump in for any look, I like to define my style as whimsical, wild, down-to-earth and free.

What Services Can You Offer on My Wedding Day?

I offer full-service floral design for large scale weddings, small elopements, the 2020 "Microwedding", and everything in between. My main focus is personal and decorative arrangements, with a special love for arbor designs. I do not stock staging or decor items (arbors, votives etc.) but have many contacts in the Nashville area to get you what you need. For a detailed list of what we can accomplish together, check out my Investment Guide! (Found in the "Investment" block of

What is your Price Range? Minimums?

My goal is to work within your desired price range to create wedding flowers that fit your style, which is why I will ask how much you'd like to spend on wedding flowers prior to our consultation. A typical wedding with me will range $1200-$3500 (including setup fees & tax) depending on style and flower selection. All full-service weddings carry a $1,000 minimum purchase. (I do offer an elopement package with a minimum of $400. The Elopement Package includes one bridal bouquet, one groom boutonniere, and altar arrangements.)

Do You Travel to the Wedding Location? What are your Service Areas?

I deliver throughout the greater Nashville area. Delivery to a non-Nashville zip code incurs a $30 fee.

What is My First Step? Your first step when inquiring about my services is to contact me! You can find me on The Knot, WeddingWire, The Vexpo, Facebook, Instagram, and Once we confirm my availability for your date I will have you fill out a brief questionnaire about your style, budget, and flower needs. Once I have this information, we can schedule a consultation. (I typically need 48 hours to prepare materials for a consult #momlife.)

What Can I Expect at My Appointment? How Can I Prepare?

It's 2020, so all of my consultations have been over the phone this year. (Sigh.) Before our call I will email you a detailed vision board with flower varieties, mockups, and inspiration images. I will also send an estimate based on your questionnaire responses. We will review these materials together and make tweaks to customize your flower plan and overall cost.

#6 Lang Floral Design - Chattanooga, TN

We're Interviewing: Stephanie Lang, Owner and Lead Florist

Vases of Fresh Flowers

About Stephanie & the Business

I started out my professional career as a Graphic Designer, and fell in love with floral design when I started doing it as a side hustle. I quit my graphic design job to do this full time about 7 years ago and haven't looked back! Here at Lang Floral Designs, we specialize in a modern and organic style of floral design. Many of our clients choose us because they love photos of our floral work. But then they also fall in love with how easy we are to work with. It hasn't always been this way... but I have learned that there is more to serving a bride than just delivering beautiful flowers on her wedding day. Creating a stress-free experience starts with the first email. One of the greatest reviews we've ever received is when a bride said we made her feel like she was our only client. Wow! I want all my brides to feel that special when planning their wedding with us!

What Services Can You Offer on My Wedding Day?

You name it, we do it, when it comes to wedding flowers. Most of our brides and clients choose bridal party flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, etc), as well as reception centerpieces and ceremony floral installations. There are always some fun little extras too. Every wedding has different and unique needs, so we will find the perfect customized floral package for each client.

In addition to flowers, we also do decor rentals and full wedding design, as well as invitation design, custom wedding signage, and wedding coordinating. For some brides, they love how easy and straightforward our booking process is, so they decide to take a little stress off their shoulders and hire us to do some of these add-on services as well. You can see a little more about our rentals and extra design services on our Pricing and Services page.

What are Your Price Ranges Like? Minimums?

We don't have a set minimum for weddings. However, we do ask each client to fill out a little questionnaire to get started with us, which includes a question about their floral budget. Then when we meet, we'll discuss what kind of floral package is going to meet their needs the best, while being respectful of the budget.

Do You Travel to the Wedding Location? What are your Service Areas?

Yes, we deliver! On occasion, it makes more sense for a bride to delegate someone to pick up their wedding flowers. However, we prefer to deliver and set up most floral packages ourselves to be sure it all looks perfect before the wedding starts. In general, we service the Chattanooga, Cleveland, and North Georgia areas. However, we don't put a limit on how far we will travel. We make those decisions on a case-by-case basis, and are happy to provide a quote for weddings that are a little further away, which would include a small fee to cover for the milage. It is not rare at all for us to travel 2 hours or more for a wedding (areas like Atlanta, Knoxville, Nashville, Blue Ridge and Birmingham).

What is My First Step? The first step is filling out our contact form on our website. After we received your information, we will get back to you in about a day or two to let you know if we're available for your wedding date, and give you a little more info about next steps and a meeting. At My Appointment: What Can I Expect, How Can I Prepare?

I will always make sure that a bride has decided on a date and a venue before we set up a meeting. Those two things are pretty crucial to begin planning. In addition, we will ask for a link to your Pinterest board (most brides do Pinterest, but if you don't, a few inspiration photos are fine too). It's always good to have that Pinterest board up-to-date with your favorite floral looks before we meet. Whether we're doing an in-person meeting, or video call, we can take a look at those pictures together to discuss your likes and dislikes and figure out what's going to work best for your wedding flowers. Other than that, you shouldn't feel pressured to have everything figured out. In our meeting, I will refer to a meeting checklist that has some of the items that brides easily forget, like a boutonnière for the officiant, or rose petals for a flower girl. We can discuss all the different ideas you have for things like centerpieces. And then, it usually works best for me to crunch number and see what will fit within your budget before locking down all the decisions.
