Your Bridal Questions Answered!
What are some treatments you offer for brides?
We are offer a wide range of services for our brides and their bridal parties. We specialize in medically supervised weight loss programs, hypoallergenic waxing, medical grade peels/facials and at home skin care retail.
Is there a "most popular choice" of treatment among your brides?
The Image Oxygen O2 Lift and Dermasweep Dermabrasion with Epifusion are the most popular choices for facial treatments. Most of our brides take advantage of our cosmetic injectables like Botox, Xeomin, Radiesse and Juvederm or the Syneron/Candela Elos Plus laser services for skin tightening, pigmentation and hair removal. We now offer the Venus Legacy for body contouring, fat destruction and cellulite reduction!
When should I get eyelash extensions?
The look of a full set of eyelash extensions can be maintained every 2-3 weeks to make sure they stay long and lush. Most full set lashes can last 6-8 weeks when properly maintaining the fills. If you have had eyelash extensions before, we recommend you have a full set applied a few days to a week before your wedding. If you have never had eyelash extensions in the past, it is best that you have a full set applied about 3 weeks before your wedding to ensure you don't have any abnormal redness, swelling or allergic reaction which can take 3-4 four days to fully subside. Once you make sure that there is no abnormal side effects, you can schedule a “fill” lash application a few days before your wedding.
What can a bride start doing to improve her skin/make her glow a year out?
Here are some of our best recommendations for preparing to have gorgeous skin before the big day. Timelines are important when it comes to your beauty before the big day, so be sure to give us a call to answer questions about your specific goals.
9-6 Months Out
Most of our services will produce amazing results beginning a year out or even 9-6 months out from the wedding date.
We suggest if you are planning on losing weight for your wedding day that you begin that process with one of our weight loss programs anywhere from 6 months to a year from the event.
The closer you get to the wedding date, the more stressed you are so its smart to think ahead and the lose the desired weight you want and learn the skills to keep it off, rather than try and lose a stressful 10 pounds in a week right before your wedding. If the weight loss habits are set in motion months in advance, it’s a great deal easier on your body and your stress level.
We have several options for weight loss including our Ideal Protein diet, our HCG diet program and Lipovite/vitachrome/ B-12 energy shots that greatly assist in speeding up your metabolism.
Laser Hair Removal
Laser Hair removal services are also something you consider doing at least 6 months in advance. The number of sessions required for permanent hair reduction whether it be for the chin, bikini area, etc. range per person (usually between 6-12 sessions) and are performed every 4,6 or 8 weeks depending on the area so you want to give yourself plenty of time to see the lasting results. Our Elos Plus is safe for all skin types, effective for all hair types, and produces lasting results with little or no downtime or discomfort.
For the bride who is trying to eliminate acne or sun spots, or just to achieve flawless skin before her wedding day, we recommend they begin a series of peels or facials approximately 6-9 months before the big day. A series of peels/facials will drastically improve problematic skin conditions like acne, rosacea, sun spots, dehydration and aging skin. These facial treatments are recommended every 2-4 weeks depending on the type of treatment that is needed.
3 Months Out
Fat Destruction, Body Contouring, Cellulite Reduction
If you are interested in the Venus Legacy for the body treatments for fat destruction, cellulite reduction and body contouring than these treatments should be done once a week for 8-10 weeks before the wedding depending on the area of the body your wanting to treat.
Check out this before and after of the Venus Legacy treatment!
This is definitely something that is popular right now, and something that you could do 3 to 4 months before your wedding day. Add a little volume to your lips. This is an HA filler that will last up to around six months.
1 Month Out
Injectables like Botox/ Xeomin are used to relax the lines in the forehead and crows feet, around the eye area as well as the stubborn crease in between the brow area. You will see dramatic results within a few days! Our fillers will help achieve a fuller lip as well as treat facial folds around the mouth and produce cheek volume. You must allow the filler a couple of weeks to take full affect which will give your skin more of a natural appearance. You’ll be amazed how much younger you will look!
If you need a dramatic peel but don’t have time for the series, Our VI Peel will give you amazing results even after just one application! The procedure is quick and painless and within days you’ll begin to see dull, damaged layers of dead skin peel away revealing a whole new you! You’ll be truly impressed at the results and how beautiful and glowing your skin looks!
Makeup Trial Application
And don’t forget to book your trial run for your makeup application! Allow 3-4 weeks before your wedding to have your makeup done by a professional so you and the artist know exactly which look you’re going for. This will ensure you get exactly what you want and you’ll have time to make any changes you need to before the big day gets here.
Days before the wedding you should have several services booked:
Any waxing services should also be done approximately 3-7 days before your wedding. This allows your skin to calm down from redness or inflammation that could occur from waxing. We use the best hypoallergenic and calming waxing methods available to minimalize the risks of inflammation post waxing.
O2 Oxygen Facial Treatment
1-2 days before, opt for an Image O2 Oxygen facial treatment. We love the treatment right before a wedding. It calms and soothes rosacea and inflamed acne as well as tightens the appearance of pores and polishes dull, flaky skin giving it a naturally smooth and radiant appearance. It’s like a breathe of fresh air for your skin!
